Nina is by It’s Highlander VDK a 1.40/1.45m level jumper Her mother competed up to 1.35m and her mother's sire sire Mazur performed at the same level and was selected for the third round viewing at the KWPN stallion approvals. Grand dam Gertina has proven herself in the sport at 1.30m level and this relatively small line also produced a few international 1.40/1.50m showjumpers such as Pa’s Hope (s.Pythagoras Z), Arkel (s.Casantos) and Narcotique (s.Jus de Pomme).
Nina Simone is well started under saddle and over small fences. She has super technique and is fun and handy to ride. Nina has an incredibly sweet disposition.
